~ Dental Prophylaxis and Polishing ~

Diet: Feed soft food (canned food or dry food soaked in water until soft) for the next 2 days.

Water: Wait 30 minutes after returning home before offering a small amount of water. If there is no vomiting within 30 minutes of offering the water, then you can make water freely available, and provide a small meal.

Exercise: Limit exercise and activity. Keep indoors and calm, especially if your pet is still groggy from the anesthesia.

Other Recommendations: Be sure that your pet has eaten something within 24 hours. If your pet has not eaten by then, call our office.
